Repairs
The UCSD Bookstore works in conjunction with Academic Computing Services to provide authorized computer repairs. The Bookstore is a convenient drop off point for repairs and offers later hours and weekends to accept computers for repair.
Computer service at the UC San Diego Bookstore is available for affiliated students and staff of UC San Diego only.

In addition, we can repair almost all out-of-warranty computers, including PC clones. We do not repair out-of-warranty monitors.
To receive service, please bring your system to the Bookstore Computer Store (1st floor of the Bookstore, in the Price Center). Alternatively, you may have Messenger Service deliver your equipment to the Bookstore or, schedule on-site service with us! The average repair will take 3-5 days. Parts availability may on occasion cause delays.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturday 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Beginning Feb. 1, 2008: Labor Rate: $75.00 per hour for out of warranty computers. 1/2 hour minimum.
